Getting Started
Do I need an account?
No. You can start in guest mode. Optional auth flows are available in-app.
Are in-app purchases required?
No. Core tracking and progression are fully usable without purchase.
Gameplay
How do loadouts affect encounters?
Encounter odds are weighted by distance traveled, selected item tags/IDs, and monster rarity.
How do pets gain levels?
Pets gain XP from running distance, plus bonus XP through feed, groom, and play interactions.
Can I reuse my previous setup?
Yes. Use the "Use Previous" action in run preparation.
Tracking and Permissions
Why is location access required?
Location powers route mapping, pace/distance metrics, and run-based gameplay systems.
Does background tracking run continuously?
No. Background location is used only to preserve accuracy while an active run is in progress.
Can I switch units?
Yes. Metric and imperial units are both supported in profile settings.
Data
Where is data stored?
Run and profile data are primarily stored on-device. If iCloud backup is enabled, Apple may include app data in encrypted backups.
How do I delete my run data?
You can remove individual runs in history or delete all app data by uninstalling the app.
